Quarto, paperback, loose-leaf, blue covered board, printed in black and red. 47 pp., facsimile letter, portrait by Charles Martin and 10 colour and black-and-white plates, plus illustrations within the text. Spine sun-faded, as is often the case. A richly illustrated study by the art historian Jean-Louis Vaudoyer (1883–1963). As a preface, a letter in verse by Henri de Régnier reproduced as a facsimile, a touching tribute to Georges Barbier (1882–1932). Limited edition of 700 copies; this one is numbered on white Johannot vellum (no. 189).
