[c. 1890]. in-32 (6.6 x 4.5 mm), cream vellum Bradel binding, plain spine decorated with the title in calligraphy in red and black, double red and black fillets running along the top and bottom of the binding. 2 unnumbered leaves (frontispiece, title page), 205 pp., numerous vignettes in the text and full-page illustrations. The last leaf is glued to the back cover, preventing the last two pages from being read. A charming miniature edition of this famous 19th-century illustrated work, featuring Tony Johannot’s illustrations first published in 1843. In good condition.
