In-4 obl., soft brown leather binding, ribbed spine, brown sheepskin title label, red-speckled edges. 1 title page and 100 engraved plates, numbered and captioned. Binding rubbed, small tear at the upper hinge, foxing on a few plates, paper slightly browned on some. A fine series of 100 Baroque plates engraved with a burin by the Klauber brothers after those by Johann Adam Stockmann. Title printed in black and red in two columns: Latin and German. Each plate bears a caption in Latin. Ex-libris stamped ‘Marcos y Francisco Virals’ of Madrid. Plates with deep black lines, in good condition, in a flexible contemporary binding.
