Unifome sword model 1788, France, late 18th or early 19th century. Strongly marked Ing. Spol, Marchand et Fourbisseur à Metz, back of the blade engraved with a scroll in the Solingen style. Brass hilt, pommel in empanached helmet, complete copper filigree well tightened. Total length 97 cm, blade 80 cm. Fair condition, without scabbard, slight oxidation.
