Pair of pistols in officer's case for shooting or duelling. Rear percussion locks, damascus ocotgonal barrels marked ELG on the side for the manufacture of Liege, 5030 and monogram under the barrel. Squared walnut stocks with oval caps and carved scallop-ended barrels, finger rests, carefully engraved with foliage. Belgium circa 1840. Total length 41 cm, barrel 23 cm, case 45 x 27 cm. Good condition, functional mechanisms, in a case complete with accessories, finished in crimson velvet.
