It should be noted that an electric model was proposed in 1940 without any success or follow-up. A popular model and a great commercial success for the marque au losange, the Juvaquatre featured a number of important technical innovations for its time, including independent wheels and a self-supporting steel body that signalled the end of the use of a heavy, cumbersome chassis. Ahead of its time, light and well powered for its time, and reliable, the juvaquatre remains a technical success of the pre-war car. In 1939 and 1940, a large number of civilian cars were requisitioned for use by the French army and then reused by the Reich's armies, including the Wehrmacht. This car is a rare collector's item, as it has remained in its original condition. Produced in 1939, it has been completely preserved in its original condition and production standards.
