Memoirs of Alphonse Frédéric Emmanuel, Count of Grouchy. (1789–1864) Son of Marshal de Grouchy, in 1806 he was at the Military Academy at Fontainebleau, Second Lieutenant in the 10th Dragoon Regiment, wounded at Eylau in 1807, aide-de-camp to his father, distinguished himself at Wagram in 1809, made a Knight of the Legion of Honour, he was wounded at the Battle of the Moskva, He charged at Waterloo at the head of the 12th Regiment of Chasseurs.
