Nice gendarme helmet, model 1912. Made by Franck et Fils Aubervilliers. Size 59. Shell in engulfed brass sheet, surrounded by a nickel silver rim. Tourillon chinstrap with leonine mask and nickel silver scales. Signed with palmettes. Medusa front mask. Pomegranate headband. The crest has its black horsehair brush intact. The inside of the visor and the nape of the neck are green (repainted). Black leather cap with seven wolf teeth. Condition 1-.
