Description
German violin made by the Wolff brothers in 1903 in Kreuznach (Bavaria, annexed by France during the revolution and the Napoleonic era). It bears an original label from this factory, founded in 1864 by Léopold and Ferdinand Wolff. Most of their production was sold in England. Slight deformation to the core on the table but no apparent breakage. The table joint has come loose under the tailpiece. Red-orange varnish, 360mm. Sold as is. A bow is attached.
