The Vase Attributed to Marie Talbot A rare anthropomorphic bottle in grey glazed stoneware with brown highlights, depicting a female figure. Dressed in a long pleated gown with a low neckline and wide, bell-shaped sleeves, her hair is worn in a bun with curls framing her face, and both hands rest on her waist. 19th century, c. 1840 H: 26 cm (Traces of a previous restoration on the neck, chips on the curls and a small repair to the bun) Bibliography: Catalogue of the exhibition ‘Marie Talbot (1814–1874)’ at the Musée de la Borne from 29 March to 11 November 2024
