Pair of sneakers from the iconic collaboration between Nike and the Off-White house, designed by Virgil Abloh as part of "The Ten" project, presented in 2017. This now iconic series revisits ten of the brand's historic models through a conceptual approach blending deconstruction, industrial typography and exposed details.
The Zoom Fly model features a semi-translucent technical textile upper that reveals the internal structure of the shoe, combined with synthetic reinforcements in a deep pink colour. The famous side Swoosh is applied and held in place by contrasting zigzag stitching, accompanied by Off-White's signature orange tag.
The inner side features the distinctive typographic markings:
"Off-White™ for NIKE - 'NIKE ZOOM FLY' - Beaverton, Oregon USA - c. 2017".
The flat laces are marked "SHOELACES". The voluminous foam midsole, branded 'FOAM', completes the industrial aesthetic unique to this collaboration that has become a major milestone in contemporary sneaker culture.
