In the style of the Séeberger brothers (Jules 1872–1932, Louis 1874–1946 and Henri 1876–1956 Séeberger). The 1910 Paris floods. Set of eight silver prints. Dimensions approximately 28 x 20 cm. Signs of handling, stains. Also included are two silver gelatine prints, one of which is mounted on card, depicting Paris and Place Saint-Georges / Notre-Dame-de-Lorette; on the front of the print: numbers; image size approximately 23 x 17 cm and mounted size approximately 35 x 27 cm (slight creases in the mount). The second photograph is a view of a Parisian railway station, probably the Gare du Nord, circa 1950; on the reverse is a stamp; overall size approximately 40 x 30 cm (creases, tears, marks, stains). PROVENANCE: Jean-Pierre Seguin (1920–2014): born in Avranches, curator and director of the Department of Prints and Photography at the National Library from 1977 to 1981, president of the National Committee for French Engraving and editor of *Nouvelles de l’estampe* from January 1978 to June 1982.
