France, nude studies, circa 1900–1950. A collection of around twenty prints, mostly silver-based, some of which are mounted on card. Examples of subjects: a nude woman on a sofa (Studio J. Mandel, Paris), Pas-de-Calais, Bray-les-Dunes, Cap Blanc-Nez, Marne – vineyards in Champagne, Marne – Cuis, Meuse – Canal de l’Est, Orne (L’Aigle), Le Touquet, Paris, ‘Compania aurífera de Galicia’ panorama, mountainous landscapes, Elsie Burton (Félix Paris); ‘Moulin Rouge’, ‘Revue’ 1922 or 1923, featuring Mistinguett (Lorelle Studio, Paris), etc. Various conditions. Full sizes approximately 17.5 x 12.5 cm, 29.5 x 10 cm to 28 x 21 cm. Provenance: Collection of Jean-Pierre Seguin (1920–2014). Founder of the BPI at the Centre Pompidou, 1965.
