Factory, France, Paris, streets, Mont-Saint-Michel, Italy, scenes of daily life and street life. Circa 1880–1910. Set of four albumin and silver gelatine prints mounted on card. Examples of subjects: Hôtel Poulard, Rue Faubourg Saint-Martin, and ‘Napoli, Strada di San Lucia (Ed. Alinari)’. Image sizes approximately 24 x 18 cm to 25 x 20 cm. Scuffs, foxing and tears. One mount has gaps and a tear. PROVENANCE: Jean-Pierre Seguin (1920–2014): born in Avranches, curator and director of the Prints and Photography Department at the National Library from 1977 to 1981, president of the National Committee for French Engraving and editor of *Nouvelles de l’estampe* from January 1978 to June 1982.
