A collection of around forty photographs, circa 1880–1930, consisting mainly of albumin and silver gelatine prints, some mounted on card, others not. Examples of subjects: Marseille, boats, Tours, the Loire – Vachette, Dinan, Cap Fréhel, Haute-Garonne, Île de Ré, Châteaurenard, Morlaix, Saint-Malo, Aix-en-Provence, Alpes-Maritimes, etc. Varying conditions. Full sizes ranging approximately from 7.5 x 5.5 cm to 26.5 x 21 cm.
Provenance: Collection of Jean-Pierre Seguin (1920–2014). Founder of the BPI at the Centre Pompidou, 1965. Director of the Department of Prints and Photography at the National Library (1977 to 1981), Chairman of the National Committee for French Engraving and Editor of *Nouvelles de l’estampe* (1978 to 1982).
