Baal of Tarsus, half-naked, seated on a throne holding a sceptre adorned with a lotus flower. In the foreground, an ear of wheat and a bunch of grapes. On the reverse, the satrap’s name. R/. Two walls representing the Pylae of Cilicia, crenellated and flanked by towers. Above, a lion attacking a bull. Around the edge, ‘Mazaïos, governor of Trans-Euphrates and Cilicia’.
