Four ritual ‘Kuduo’ vessels made of a copper alloy using the lost-wax casting technique.
‘As the physical vessel for the n’toro, the kuduo is associated with the private cults of all families, both common and royal. It was intended to hold the offerings presented to the deities or ancestors during purification ceremonies. It also served as a sacred vessel; the royal treasure was kept in it within the mausoleums”.
