[ART OF AFRICA] Necklace adorned with articulated elements in gilded metal. The chain is made up of a succession of circled shapes, some with serrated edges on "fishing line" wire. The central circular pendant is decorated with concentric circles and centred on a stylised lizard. A cross is symbolised schematically on the pendant, part of which depicts the lizard's spine, with the surround forming a finial. Screw clasp.
