DUMAS, Alexandre: *Theatre*: *Henri III and his Court*, a historical drama in five acts in prose, and *Antony*, a drama in five acts in prose, published by Vézard et Cie, Passage Choiseul Le Normant Père, Rue de Seine, 1829, and published by Auguste AUFFRAY, 6 Rue des Beaux-Arts, Paris, 1831.
Two in-8 volumes, aubergine half-calf with a smooth spine bearing a title decorated with floral motifs, marbled edges, caps damaged.
A collection of various editions of Alexandre Dumas’s plays, largely in their original form, enriched with dedications to Etienne Casimir Hippolyte Cordellier-Delanoue (1806–1854), a playwright close to Dumas.
The first leaf of Volume II is detached; there is foxing and staining, scuffing and slight sun damage.
