FIRST WORLD WAR – DOUAI] A poster from the period, which had been put up on the walls and subsequently torn down. Douai was occupied by the Germans under a military administrative regime.The mayor was in office but was controlled by a military governor. During those years, there were numerous restrictions, which were announced via posters. An unknown person tore this one down.
