Ten Tales of Gaspard de la Nuit, original etchings by Marcel Gromaire, P., Tériade, 1962, quarto, loose sheets in slipcase; copy no. 54/120, one of 60 on Arches vellum with an additional suite on Japanese paper, signed by the artist; one corner of the slipcase is crushed.
A fine copy with an additional suite on Japanese paper. The edition of *Macbeth* published by Tériade gave Gromaire the idea of publishing this book, which had been conceived 30 years earlier for a publisher who had subsequently withdrawn from the project. (Monod-1497)
