All 10 volumes. Illustrations by Charles Martin. Alfred de Musset, French Romantic writer (1810–1857). He began his career in Charles Nodier’s literary circle and led a dandyish life characterised by a mixture of alcohol and depression. His work is characterised by extreme sensitivity. He had a tumultuous relationship with George Sand. With illustrations by Charles Martin, in very fine condition.
