Illustrations by Loewitz. Good condition. Hector-Henri Malot, known as Hector Malot, born on 20 May 1830 in La Bouille, not far from Rouen, and died on 18 July 1907 in Fontenay-sous-Bois, was a French novelist. Hector Malot wrote some sixty novels. The best known today are his novels for children: Romain Kalbris, Sans Famille, En Famille. Another children's novel, Le Mousse, was published posthumously.
