POUGNY (Jean). Ten original linocuts: L'Atelier. Poem by Jacques Prévert. Paris, Au Vent d'Arles, 1964. Folio, loose sheets, in the publisher’s slipcase. A series of 10 original linocuts by Jean Pougny, drawn between 1914 and 1920 in Leningrad, Vitebsk and Berlin, eight of which were enhanced with stencils by Cardin and Bogratchev based on the artist’s sketches. They are accompanied by a printed poem and facsimile by Jacques Prévert on Prévert’s studio. Limited edition of 30 copies on satin-finished haban, this one being copy 9/30 on antique laid paper.
