MEDICINE DURING THE FIRST EMPIRE 8 documents: An interesting collection on the themes of medicine, surgery and the medical corps in the post-Revolutionary period and during the First Empire. Includes, notably, a diploma in surgery from Toulouse, 1806; correspondence from the Paris Military Hospital, 1806; a letter from Louis-Nicolas HION dated 26 July 1793 regarding the appointment of an assistant surgeon to the Army of the Eastern Pyrenees; Diploma of Doctor of Surgery dated 1809 awarded to Raymond Jean of Toulouse by the University of Paris, featuring a fine, clearly visible dry seal bearing an eagle / Set of four documents relating to the appointments and service records of Doctors Pugens, father and son, between 1815 and 1843. The collection is in good condition, with some signs of wear.
