Description
Toulouse almanacs. A remarkable collection of over 120 almanacs in 16mo format, published in Toulouse between 1744 and 1887.
Calendrier de Toulouse Utile et Nécessaire for the year 1744, then 1757 to 1790 (missing 1758, 60, 66, 70, 75, 78, 80, 83, 89). It subsequently became the Calendar for Haute-Garonne, then once again the Calendar of Toulouse or Useful Calendar for Business People: 1792–1887 (missing Year X of the Revolution, 1811, 1839, 52, 53, 62 and 1874). Published by Baour and Robert, Douladoure etc., they were initially paperback and feature a remarkable collection of covers in marbled paper. They were bound in hardback around the mid-19th century.
Historical Almanac of the Province of Languedoc for the years... 1780 to 1791 (missing 1782, 1784 and 1789).
Calendar of the Court of Parliament of Toulouse for the years... 1769 and 1770.
