An important Louis XIV-style wall clock in ‘Boulle’ marquetry, surmounted by a figure of Renown and featuring gilded bronze fittings. The brass dial features engraved decoration and Roman numerals painted on enamelled cabochons. The movement is signed Vicenti. 19th century H. 90 cm (One mascaron is missing beneath the bird at the bottom; the lamp base is missing; no key; there are gaps and damage to the veneer).
