Gilded bronze statue of the crowned Amitayus, seated in the vajraparyankasana posture on a throne draped with a lambrequin, hands in dhyana mudra (meditation gesture). On the plinth is the Qianlong gengyin mark, dated 1770.
H.: 17 cm; W.: 11 cm; D.: 9 cm
The plinth is slightly sunken; the mandorla and kalasa are missing; there is wear and some gilding is missing
