Large ovoid vase on octagonal pedestal, with two scrolled handles ending in a bird's head on a gold background. On the front, a military leader, with a few companions behind him, is handing an oliphant to a noble lady in medieval dress.

These scenes, set in two gold-hemmed reserves, stand out against a cream background enhanced by stylised swans, trelliswork and gold floral mantling. Gold braid and fillet on the pedestal. Marked in blue with a sceptre. Chips on the upper rim, missing handle support, gold wear.
