JEANNERET Pierre (1896–1967) (Attributed to) Teak armchair with a rectangular seat of woven cane, suspended from the armrests by chains. Slightly sloping backrest in cotton cord. Flat, contoured feet connected by two ‘log-style’ crossbars. Circa 1955 H: 76.5 cm x W: 49 cm x D: 64 cm Provenance: Studio armchair belonging to the painter Jean-Claude Salomon (1928–2022) References: - At the City Museum in Chandigarh, Sector 10. - A similar example is held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
