Conclusion of the palaeontological assessment: “The specimen consists of an assemblage combining authentic fossil elements from the Maastrichtian phosphates of the Khouribga Basin with modern restorations and 3D prints intended to reconstruct the complete anatomy of the skull. The assembly faithfully reflects the known morphology of large mosasaurids and exhibits satisfactory anatomical consistency. The quality of the preparation and restoration work is high and meets the standards observed in the finest Moroccan specimens currently held in private and institutional collections.” Dr Frédéric Lacombat, 9 June 2026
