A polychrome porcelain figure depicting Madame Récamier seated on a chaise longue. The plinth bears the inscription ‘Madame Récamier d’après Gérard’. Gilded bronze mount decorated with floral garlands.
The figure was modelled on the painting by François Gérard.
Red mark ‘M. Impᵉ de Sèvres’ beneath the base.
