A so-called ‘wedding’ mirror, in a gilded, moulded and carved wooden frame with an openwork pediment, decorated with a pair of doves within a fluted cartouche, highlighted by two arrows beneath a laurel wreath, volutes, foliage, cascades of foliage ending in pompons, friezes of pearls and ribbons, pine cones, etc. (mercury mirror, with minor chips and touch-ups to the gilding).
