The drop-down panel reveals 8 drawers, 8 compartments, two secret compartments and a central panel decorated with marquetry depicting an allegory of Great Britain. The drop-down panel, which forms a writing desk, is upholstered in dark leather embossed in gold with a frieze of vine tendrils. Late 19th-century English craftsmanship (scratches, stains, sun damage) Height: 107 cm – Width: 53.5 cm – Depth : 122 cm Included is a desk chair in veneered wood with marquetry latticework, featuring an openwork backrest, a seat upholstered in studded green leather, and sabre legs.
