White earthenware bonbonnière with polychrome painted decoration (putti) in shades of pink and green. Signed S.X. under the base for the Manufacture de Sceaux (opened mid 18th century - closed in 1879), with putti wearing wreaths of flowers on the top of the lid and green flowers on the body. Mounting probably in silver-plated bronze. Good condition, traces of wear.
