Description
MULLER FRERES in Lunéville for HETTIER and VINCENT: Rare Art Deco period chandelier, Hydrangea model, the nickel-plated bronze frame with stylised decoration, the basin and the tulips in marbled glass in pale pink tones. The tulips and bowl are signed "Muller frères à Lunéville" and "HV" for Louis Hettier (designer) and Calixte Vincent.
Around 1925 (transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco)
Hettier et Vincent was founded around 1912 at 43 rue des Tournelles in Paris. In 1929, it opened a prestigious gallery on the Place des Vosges for a refined and wealthy clientele by buying out the Millet house.
