The first "Battles of the ship L'Intrépide against several English ships – 1 October 1747" no. 416 Painting by Gilbert – Engraving by Skelton – Diagraph and pantograph by Gavard. For the second "Battle of the French ship Romulus against three English ships at the entrance to Toulon harbour – 13 February 1814" Gilbert – J. Doherty Both feature a raised stamp at the bottom of the passe-partout depicting a woman’s head and an inscription H 30 cm W 37.5 cm (as displayed)
