Manuel RAMIREZ (1864–1916)
Six-string guitar, bearing a label from around 1900 attributed to Manuel Ramirez
Back measuring 48 cm in three sections: cypress/rosewood/cypress; the same for the sides
Spruce top in good condition with a few scratches beneath the bridge; soundhole rosette inlaid with
oak leaves and acorns (a rosette design similar to that of a model made by his brother
dated 1897: vine leaves and bunches of grapes)
Ebony fingerboard with 19 frets
Very good condition.
Dimensions: Total length: 92.5 cm, body: 48 cm, neck length: 31.5 cm, head: 16 cm,
shoulders: 23.9, belly: 20.5 cm, hips: 32.5, height of the sides at the heel: 7 cl, at the bottom: 7.5 cm.
Width of the top nut: 4.6 cm
