‘Pair of Tigers’
A rare bronze sculpture with a nuanced brown patina, medal-sized
It rests on a stepped pyramidal plinth in Belgian black marble (probably a later addition)
bearing the signature “M.Prost”
Signed with the initials “MP” in intaglio on one of the front paws
Model created around 1932
Private edition by Maurice Prost.
Limited to around ten copies.
