Sideboard known as the ‘Cansado’
With a square-sectioned body in walnut veneer
Featuring two sliding doors at the front in black and white melamine, with profiled handles, and four drawers on the side.
Black lacquered metal base with a square cross-section, manufactured by Métal Meubles.
Model designed around 1959

Note: Cansado was a mining town built in the 1960s by the Mauritanian Iron Mining Company (MIFERMA) to house its managerial staff. Some of the furniture was designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1959 and 1967, and was produced by Steph Simon.
