VAN CLEEF & ARPELS. A flexible cuff bracelet in textured Polish link style, crafted from 750-thousandths yellow and white gold in both smooth and matt finishes. Features an invisible clasp with a safety catch. Master’s hallmark: Gay Frères. Circa 1960. Length: 18.5 cm. Width: 2.5 cm. Weight: 80.5 gr. Note: Gay Frères is a jewellery house founded in 1835 by Jean Pierre Gay and Gaspard Tissot in Geneva. They specialise in the creation of chains and bracelets featuring intricate links and clasps. They collaborated with leading jewellery houses on Place Vendôme as well as watchmaking firms, creating watch straps for brands such as Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe.
