1 B RHUM VIEUX AGRICOLE MG (9 years old) Bottled in 2012 Year: 2003 Producer: Bielle Distillery / Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe ABV: 49 % Volume: 70 cl Packaging: Box (damaged) MG is an agricultural rum distilled by Bielle in 2003 and bottled by Velier in 2012 after 9 years’ ageing in bourbon casks. In 2006, Luca and Paolo Gargano purchased 6,000 litres of rum from Bielle, which they placed in bourbon casks to age, in order to observe the ageing conditions on Marie-Galante. At the time, they were working on their own distillery project: Rhum Rhum, which would, incidentally, be hosted by Bielle. This release is the third, blended from the last twenty casks.
