SET of 4 PRINTS – 1. Jules DAVID (1808–1892) (after) – 2 plates: ‘An hour before the duel’ & ‘An hour after the duel’. 19th century. Two lithographs in period colours. Printed by Lemercier. Published by Jeannin in Paris and by Tilt in London. Approximately 24.5 x 27.5 cm each. Approximately 41.5 x 44 cm for each set. Condition B (tears in the margins of the brown-tinted backing; sun-faded prints formerly glued along the edges to the back of a frame). 2- DEVERIA - MAURIN. 2 19th-century lithographs: -“Le lever”. Lithograph by DEVERIA, printed by C. Motte. 20 x 15.5 cm per sheet. & – “Le lacet”, lithograph after Nicholas Eustache MAURIN, printed by Lemercier. 22.5 x 17 cm per sheet.
