SET of 5 PRINTS/DRAWINGS: 1-ALGERIA – [Scene from Algerian life]. 1892. Anonymous watercolour on paper, inscribed and dated in pencil in the bottom right-hand corner. 17.5 x 9.5 cm. Condition A (in fine condition). 2-CHINA – PAINTING depicting a figure from the Investiture of the Gods (?). 19th century. Painting on paper. 42.5 x 32.5 cm. Condition B/C (a few short tears along the edges of the sheet, foxing). 3-FINISTÈRE (29) – “Pointe du RAZ”. 1924. Pencil and watercolour on paper, inscribed and dated in the lower left-hand corner. Signature unidentified. 32 x 24.5 cm. Condition B (one tear and a loss previously restored, backed). 4-Jacques-Nicolas TARDIEU (1716–1791) - “PORTRAIT of Robert LE LORRAIN”. 1749. Etching and burin engraving after Donat Nonnotte (1708–1785). Ref.: Le Blanc, no. 18. Proof with letter, on laid paper. Copperplate margins. 35.7 x 24.5 cm. Condition A/B (truncated within the copperplate mark, slight soiling from dust). 5-Gilles DEMARTEAU (1722–1776) – ‘Les Savoyards’. 18th century. Engraving in the manner of a pencil drawing after François BOUCHER (1703–1770). Print on laid paper, bearing the address “In Paris at Demarteau, Engraver to the King, Rue de la Pelterie à la Cloche” and the number 291. Narrow margins. 16 x 21.7 cm. Condition B (slight stains and paper slightly mottled on the reverse; two tears in the upper margin, one of which extends to the subject at the right-hand corner; otherwise in good overall condition).
