Original drawing (probably by Felix Benoist) in graphite, on unbleached vellum paper. “St Georges du Velabre” written in pencil in the bottom left-hand corner. Provenance: From the collection of the Charpentier workshop, run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 31.7 x 24 cm. Condition A (in excellent condition).
