ALPES-MARITIMES (06) – “TOUËT-DE-L'ESCARENE”. 19th century. Original DRAWING (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite, highlighted with white gouache, on vellum paper. Inscribed “Touet de l’Escarene” in pencil in the bottom left-hand corner. Provenance: From the collection of the Charpentier workshop, run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 31 x 22 cm. Condition A (in excellent condition).
