CÔTES D'ARMOR (22) - BULAT-PESTIVIEN - “Church of Notre-Dame de BULAT near Pestivien”. 19th century. Original DRAWING by Félix Benoist (1818–1896) in graphite on brown vellum paper. PREPARATORY DRAWING for the lithograph entitled “Church of Notre-Dame de Bulat” for the album “La BRETAGNE CONTEMPORAINE”, published by Charpentier in Nantes. Inscribed “Church of Our Lady of Bulat near Pestivien (Côtes du Nord)” in pencil in the bottom right-hand corner. Provenance: Collection of the Charpentier studio run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 27 x 35.7 cm. Condition A (strip of paper spliced at the bottom, in good condition).
