FINISTÈRE (29) – MORGAT – “GROTTE DE L’AUTEL in MORGAT”. 19th century. Original DRAWING (probably by Félix Benoist (1818–1896)) in graphite on unbleached vellum paper. Inscribed “Grotte de l’Autel à Morgat” in pencil in the bottom left-hand corner. Provenance: From the collection of the Charpentier workshop, run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 24 x 32 cm. Condition A (in excellent condition).
