ILLE-ET-VILAINE (35) – “Fougères”. 19th century. Original drawing (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on vellum paper. Inscribed in pencil in the bottom left-hand corner. Provenance: From the collection of the Charpentier workshop run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 25.2 x 35.2 cm. Condition A (rare minor handling marks, in good condition).
