(2015). Old-style binding with metal coat-of-arms supralibros and leather covers in an old-style art-deco case with gold-embossed title and mounted nameplate, in a pouch (slightly scuffed). One of 999 numbered copies. – With certificate of authenticity. – Facsimile of the study book for Pope Gregory XIII (1502–85) from the 16th century. Pope Gregory XIII is best known for introducing the Gregorian calendar, but was also a great patron of the arts and sciences. - In very good overall condition.
